Tip: If you have a lot of repeating “Read more” links, you can often fix it by moving the subject into the link text. Example: “Read more” → “Read more about performance improvements”.
Quick checklist
- Would the link make sense in a list of links?
- Avoid “click here”, “here”, and repeating “read more”.
- Put the destination/topic in the link text (“Read version 2.1 release notes”).
- Don’t rely on “click” language (touch, voice, keyboard, switch users).
